Are there "minor" yeast infections?

Ok, hopefully I'm not driving anyone on this board as crazy as I'm driving myself... I've been trying to diagnose myself for months since I had BV. According to the culture I had, the BV went away, but I still feel it. I just took a look at "myself" in the mirror and saw what looked like maybe a minor yeast infection. I've had yeast infections before and all this stuff was coming out of me, whereas now there's some stuff -- not much -- but it looks like it could be yeast. I'm wondering if the metrinazole (sp) tabs I took for the BV caused a minor yeast infection. If that was all it was, I'd could go get some monistat. I know the answer is to go to the gyno, but honestly, I've been about 4 times in the past few months and it's getting awkward to keep leaving for dr appointments at work. Any thoughts? thanks...

Hi peachykeen.
I would have to say there are varying degrees of yeast infections.

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for all your advice over the past few days/weeks. Before I had a chance to read your reply, I bought Monistat 3-day, but I have had success with the 3-day course in the past (not the 1-day), so hopefully this will do the trick. If not, I'm finding a new gyno. Wish me luck!
