Gardasil vaccine

I recently finished my last shot for the Gardasil vaccine and my period is two weeks late. I know for a fact that I'm not pregnant, so that's out of the question.

Has anybody else gotten one or all of the vaccines and noticed they were late?

Hi gobigblueuk.

I have not personally had the vaccine so hopefully someone else will pop in and share their experience.

I just finished my Gardasil regimen last month. I didn't have any fluctuation in my period, but I am taking birth control to keep myself regular, so it's not out of the question that the vaccine could impact your cycle. Let's not forget how outrageously fickle our bodies can be; anything you do can completely alter your menstrual symptoms.

Did you notice any effects after the previous two shots? Anything at all could indicate that the drug has an effect on your body. If not, it's still posible that the third shot coupled with any number of factors - diet, exercise, stress, sleep patterns, et cetera - could have been enough to throw your cycle out of whack.

I say, if it doesn't come about in the next week or two, call your doctor just in case. It could be nothing, but there's always a chance that it might be a symptom of something problematic.

Hi-
I just got the Gardasil on Monday and was due for my period on Tuesday but it never came. I take birth control so I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant but I was looking on-line to see if anyone else has missed a period after the vaccine. I Google'ed "gardasil and missed period" and found a lot of people who had the same experience...some websites had people who said that the vaccine and missed period are not related but many people posted their personal experiences of missing their periods after receiving the vaccine.
