I've heard that some people have them very often.  What could be the causes.  I also heard something about eating yogurt to help control it???  or something called Diflucan which the doctors prescribe.

Any info you can give is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Cranberry juice is for UTIs.

A systemic overgrowth of yeast in the gut (sometimes caused by eating meat and sugar) overflows as a vaginal yeast infection. Other areas can also be affected like the scalp (dandruff), jock itch, athlete's foot etc. Sometimes intestinal pain also because of the yeast in the gut. Other symptoms like depression and allergic response (seasonal allergies, eczema), acne and other skin problems. I have had all of these that's why I know lol. The bacteria in yogurt and other fermented foods keeps the yeast in your gut in check. It treats an infection and helps keep it from coming back. Cutting back on meat, refined carbs and sugars is necessary if you have recurrant YI.

Hello! I am looking for some information. (TMI?) 2 years ago I started getting YI for the first time in my life. In the end it came down to it being sweets, more specifically, chocolate. I give up chocolate and I stopped getting the YI. I recently had surgery for Endo, the same day of my surgery I came home feeling irritated like I had a YI, but figured it was from the surgery and they also removed a vaginal skin tag. But once we got into the weekend I knew it was a YI. So I called in and I got the Diflucan, took 3 pills, one

Hi Michelle.

It is very possible that you have a bacterial infection and not yeast.
