They Don't Know What's Wrong With Me!

I went to the doctor recently, did labs, results were not what they expected and now they do not know what is wrong with me. Okay, so my problem started 2 years ago. I was having nipple discharge. At the time I thought it was clear because I had never actually seen it except on my shirts and I knew it wasn't bloody. So they sent me to get a breast ultrasound because I also had a small lump. Everything was normal and they ruled that the clear discharge was just normal hormones and would decrease over time. It never decreased, but if the doctors weren't worried, neither was I. However, I have had 3 breast ultrasounds to keep confirming it is nothing. My last one was a month ago and everything was still normal.
Well, about a month ago I actually saw the discharge and it turns out that it is not clear. It is actually breast milk! First let me say that I am not pregnant, never been pregnant and cannot be pregnant. So I started doing research and figured out that I could have a prolactin problem and possibly a prolactin-producing tumor because I also have headaches frequently. So I went back to the doctor and they did blood tests for prolactin and TSH (because my mom had a thyroid problem and the two are usually connected). I also have other symptoms that could be related to a thyroid/prolactin problem such as tiredness and irregular menstrual cycles (I go months without having a period). However, I got the results back and all hormone levels are normal. The doctor also thought it could have been the medication I was put on for my headaches, but it turns out that is not true either. So here I am, producing breast milk and what both I and the doctor thought was causing it is not. I asked what else it could be and the doctor said they didn't know and would have to do some research.
I wasn't sure where to put this post and have posted on a couple of other boards. Can anyone give me some ideas/input?

Hi knc02 and welcome to the board.
You definitely have some puzzling symptoms without answers.

The dr put me on pills to start my period since I wasn't having one.
I just had a baby seven months ago.
The pills take two weeks to work, and I have the headaches and everything.
Have you been trying to get pregnant?
Wondering why you are on pills.
I'm going to assume that you haven't had an MRI to check for a pituitary growth.
Hi there,
I have to agree with Vida. Why are you on pills only seven months postpartum? It is completely normal for your cycle to take a long time to return after giving birth. The only plausible reason why a doctor would give you pills to kick start your period at this point in time would be if you have a history of PCOS, and therefore have difficulty getting pregnant.
