Hi, my name is Sasha and I am a 46.5 yo married female. DH & I have no kids as he had a vasectomy in 97 and I am infertile. We both have had genetic testing after we were first married in 93 and learned we are carriers of a Jewish genetic disease (Fanconi Anemia). Now, I have felt like a skin tag outside of vaginal area. My gyno says it is not a problem, I am just wondering if it really serious. I like my doctor and he has been very thorough with me and my issues. I am very prone to ovarian cysts and have had to undergo pelvic ultrasounds every 3 months for bad cysts. I was hospitalized once for over a week with a ruptured ovarian cyst -- turned out to be corpus luteum, whatever that means and the 'pregnancy' absorbed itself. I would like someone just to say everything's gonna be all right. Been married almost 15 yrs. Other than being on the pill for hormonal balance problems, my sex life is great. Thanks so much. Sasha

Hi there,
Skin tags can be a sign of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, but this is only problematic if you are trying to conceive.
If your gyn says it's nothing to worry about, then I would say it's OK :-).
