Hi, i know this probably isnt the right board to ask this, but i got decent help last time. THis may come across as a stupid question, but im almost 22,and have been on the pill ever since i was younger - ive had to get off of it because i continued to bleed thru out the month when i wasnt meant to.
Now my question is, since im not use to having a normal period - how do i know when i am due to get it ? Ive noticed my discharge has become a little bit more gooey and ive had a bit more. I think im due to get my period next week or at the end of this week - but im not too sure... im so use to knowin when my period is due from looking at the pill packet, but now i cannot rely on that to know.

Thanks.

Welcome to the world of irregularity! I have an AF once every 45-200 or so days. No warnings except irritability and very slight cramping on occasion.

Hi there,

Your period isn't considered a "period" until you start to see bright red blood. Before that it is considered to be spotting and part of your previous cycle. So what might be happening is a progesterone deficiency isn't keeping your lining stable for long enough. Also, because your periods are 10 days long, that is a very long time, and that is an issue in itself, so I think you should really be talking to a doctor to find out if there is anything going on.
