Chronic Pelvic Pain

Hi,
I don't know where the pain is coming from but I am having lower pelvic pain.
I had an ultrasound and a few other tests done about a year ago and everything was clear. Urine samples were clear too. The thing is that I used to have recurrent UTI's (about 3-4 a year). Since I drink about 3 lt of water and take cranberry tablets I never experienced another UTI (they were all succesfully treated with antibiotics in the past).
I don't know what this pain could be. The Dr doesn't seem to know either. I would also like to mention that the pain started about a year ago while I started taking the oral contraceptive yasmin. I get it almost everyday, while some days it's stronger and other days weaker. I also experience pain when having sex sometimes and I have suspected endometriosis (needed a lapiroscopy to confirm). However, as far as I am aware endometriosis causes pain a few days before and during your period. I don't think it can cause everyday pain.
Please help!!!

Hi angeliquesce.
Sounds like your endometriosis is acting up.

Hi, I just happened to come across your post while I was searching for another topic, but just wanted to let you know that what you're experiencing sounds very much like Endometriosis. I have had it for five years, along with two surgeries. It's very common to have everyday pain, not only on your period.
Best of luck.
this has taken over my life, i would really appreciate it if you could tell me a little more about what you have been through. if you aren't comfortable with doing that, no problem no hard feelings what so ever. but i think its at lease worth asking.
