Should I get a 2nd opinon?

So I woke up on Sunday morning with a really bad pain in my right abdominal area. I was worried that it was appendicitis so I went to the ER. When I got there they did all kinds of tests and the answer they came up with baffled me. They said that it may be a yeast infection and gave me a prescription for ONE antibiotic-one pill?I asked if this was what was causing the pain and they said it happens. What I want to know is should I get a second opinion because I am still in a load of pain and I don't know what to do. What is even more weird is that I had NO symptoms of a yeast infection like none at all. So I am really confused because I have not had my period since 8/19 and then this. They did two preg tests and both were negative but I am worried that it is something more. Any advice would help thanks in advance:D

Hi katv84 and welcome to the board.

Honestly, your symptoms sound more like an ovarian cyst.

I recommend a second opinion as well, and I agree with Lisa about a possibility of ovarian cysts. I have had both cysts and yeast infections, and I can tell you that I never had abdominal pain from a yeast infection! Pain, yes, but not abdominal pain!
