Constantly Wet

Hi,

I am a 24 year old female and I seem to always be wet in my vaginal area. My panties are never dry. Lately, I realize the moisture is because I am very horny when thinking about a certain someone, but even when I am not, and even before I met him, I would just always be wet. It's not to the point where it is dripping, but to prevent my undies from becoming wet I have to constantly be wearing panty-liners each day. Is it normal to NEVER be dry down there? I believe the odor only comes in when I've been wearing panty liners all day and I am not the freshest I can be. Is there such a thing as not having enough circulation down there? Do you think going without undies every once in a while is a good idea? I try to go without when I am at home as much as possible to let it air out. What do you guys think?

I have this problem too. It's caused by an excess of estrogen. You might want to be tested for hormonal issues.

The odor is for sure an infection. If you are wearing panty liners every day it likely is a yeast infection. Your body needs to breath. Once you go to the doc and treat your infection wear cotton panties and forgo the panty liners. So what if your undies are wet. I have this problem too but seems better than being on the other end of the spectrum.

Hi there,

If you are finding that you have an odor down there, even with regular changes of your panty liners, then you may have an infection. You may want to try breathable panty liners as well, as they will allow more air to circulate.

I would suggest you see a doctor to make sure you have an infection. Some women will naturally have more of a scent than others, especially around ovulation. Some women will also naturally produce more cervical fluid, but it can also indicate a hormonal imbalance.
