I just wanted everyone to know that I had my surgery on June 30 and am recovering very well. Just this past Thursday I had my stitches removed and received my pathology report----NO CANCER! What a relief. I wanted to thank everyone for their wonderful thoughts, prayers, and overall good wishes. I haven't written sooner since I do not have a computer at home and this was my first chance of using one. I hope everyone is doing well and had a good 4th of July. I'll be stopping in again I'm sure once I return to work. Thanks again.

I can't believe you just posted today! I just mentioned your operation to my husband this morning and I said I was wondering how it went and how your were doing!! I'm so relieved for you and so glad that you took the time to let us know how everything went. Enjoy your recovery time and the relief of knowing that you're ok!! Big hugs, Cathy :)

I apologize for taking so long to respond. I don't have a computer at home so I had to wait to get back to work. It will be 3 wks tomorrow and feel almost 100%. What a relief to have this part all behind and now can focus on getting regulated on synthroid. I'll be a happy camper if that goes as smoothly as the operation. Thanks again for all your support!

Thank you. I'm hoping I get regulated fairly quick and smooth. THe doctors seem to be optimistic that I should do fine but obviously need some adjustsments along the way. The odd thing is their theories seem to be since I wasn't hypo/hyper prior to the surgery that I won't have the additional problems of my system being out of control. Who knows. Part of it makes sense to me and some parts don't so we'll soon see.

I hope all is going well for you.
