First the nurse drew blood twice and then I was given Thyrel intravenously to stimulate my pituitary. Then she took 2 draws each at 15, 30, and 45 minute levels. I cannot remember which draw was which (before or after the Thyrel) but they were going to test T3, T4, TSH, testosterone level, prolactin level, and FSH. I asked about the timing of the test (had to come in between cd5-8) and the nurse said it's so they can determine if the "imbalance" is related to the thyroid or the ovaries. So, at least if I find out my thyroid is actually ok and there is a hormonal imbalance in the ladies' dept. I'll hopefully be on the right track!

Just wanted to share. The results will be in next week although they didn't have an open appt. until the week later to go over them. Ugh.

Thanks Cathy and FoxyMom for your hugs, help, & info! :-) Cathy
