Ona - did you read the info that I posted for you on your old post? I really think it sounds like what you have. Your current doctor may not want to treat you anymore but she can still prescribe your medication. You can also tell the new doctor's office about your high TSH levels, if you haven't already, and see if they can take you sooner. You can also ask them to put you on a list to call if they have a cancelation so that you can get in there sooner. But ...... read my post on your old post to see the info I found. Tell me what you think. Hang in there!! Cathy :)

yes cathy,

I loked up the sights and did ask to be put on a calllist if soeone cancels and have a call inot my old endocronologist to see what she wants me to do. I agree that the pitutary is having a lot to do with it,I amhoiping the old one will still providde my meds but I had only seen her once and it is just becuse the injections and high levels she doesnt understand it is just frustrating at this point that i have to be the 1 percent that nothing works.

I know it's frustrating. I'm sure it's worse than I can even imagine because your situation is so extreme. I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. I'll keep you in my prayers for a cancellation with a good endocrinologist. I just hope that you can get to the bottome of it. Is the one you're waiting for supposed to be the best in your area? I'm sure it is how you feel. You've been going through this for quite some time. And it's ridiculous that your doctor has given up on treating you!! I would even consider reporting her to the AMA when you're feeling better. I hope you're able to get some rest and take care of yourself, that you aren't in some high stress job or anything. Try to take care!! Hugs, Cathy

Hi Ona,

It would seem that when a doctor "gives up" and doesn't know how to care for you that they would see to it that you are taken care of until you
