Thyroid acting up again?????

I think my thyroid is out of wack again---the past week or so I have been noticing several symptoms--------extra tiredness, having a hard time falling asleep, moodiness, headaches, bloating/weight gain--not much but a couple of pounds for no reason, clumsiness.  These are all signs I had when my thyroid originally went crazy. I have been on my meds since Nov 03--so 9 mos now and have been doing fairly well---I am on 150mcg of Synthroid.  We just moved and I have had to find a new ENDO, which I have, however can't get in to see him till Sept 2nd.  So my question is this----do I just tough it out and wait till the 2nd or do I call my old doctor to see if he will order up blood work at such. I really don't want to do that b/c it is such a pain with us being 2 hours away from my old doctor now, but I don't know if I should wait the 3 weeks till my apt either?  Or maybe I am just crazy and my thryoid is fine, who knows.  WHat do you think?

We usually know our bodies pretty well. Well enough at least to realize something is different (not necessarily wrong but you never know). I'd call your old doc. Ask if he can do one of two things....write you an order to a lab to have some blood work done or call and request that your new endo see you earlier b/c a possible issue is suspected.

i agree with Kelly.

no need to be miserable for 3 weeks, if something can be done about it sooner.
