Feeling off?

I am just curious if any of you ever just have days when you feel "off?" Last night I had a really good evening after work and now this morning I feel like I would cry at the drop of a hat if given the chance and not at the office. I have been feeling better but I just still have days when I don't feel right. I am just wondering if any of you ever have struggled with days like this since being treated for your thyroid conditions. Thanks for any input!

Yes, at least twice a week I have off days.......can't pin point any patterns yet though. I just feel it's due to me not being regulated properly yet on the thyroid meds...

ABSOLUTELY----I will go several day, even up to a week or so with no problems and then have several off days.

OH, I'm so sorry to hear about that. I know how frustrating that can be. I don't think I've ever been emotional b/c of my thyroid, but I definately go through that once a month and I went through it bad when I was taking birth control. Oye!

It's a shame that a thyroid disorder can have so much control over our bodies! Thyroid can mess up so much, I know that many women experience menstral problems with their thyroids, so it's probably messing with your hormones too-- Its hard too when your feeling emotional to do all the things that you might want to do too. Especiallly if you know you are feeling sensitive, its embarassing to do that in front of other people. I hope that things can work out for you.

Maybe you could mention it to your doctor, or maybe taking some ST John's wort could help? I know I was glad once the depro-provera was out of my system, no more roller coaster emotions!

My thoughts are with you, Lisa

Yes, I've felt that way, too. Between our thyroid condition and our normal menstrual cycle, it's a wonder we have good days at all! LOL! But I do find that and I think it has to do with the time of month and what my other hormones are doing. And I also think it has to do with whether or not I have enough thyroid hormone in my system at that time. It's a tricky balance. Cathy :)
