Hair falling out- hyper

My hair is getting really thin! My hair has never been super thick, but plenty enough not to complain!! Now it's terribly thin and frizzy. I need to clean out the shower drain once or twice a week or it starts to clog!! My hair is a little past my shoulders.

I want to dye it but so afraid to. :-(

Do the hair symptoms clear up once you become "regular" ? Is there anything I can do?

Will it grow back?

I go to the docs on the 15th to discuss the "3" options. RAI is not one of them for me. I feel like this is just taking forever to get a grip on! ITs making me crazy!

I tried to call my doc to get in sooner as told by the Nuclear Med DR after my test results but the stupid secretary is so mean and I honestly dont think she has done anything. I talked to her Fri and she said she would have to get the test results first, talk to my doc and then call me back. So I called monday she said "that question hasn't been answered." what does that mean? She said, she will get the test results and call me today. (monday) I said, you will call me back today? she said yes. DId she call? Nope!

I did call Nuclear Med though and asked they fax my test results over. hehe hopefully they did! Just frustrated...I can't get past this stupid secretary! Now it's Tuesday and I guess I am gonna have to call again and be annoying. oh well.

Thanks for listening!

Hi April - I had the same problem with the office people in my old endo's office. They're like office Nazi's or something!! It's the last place thes women should be working. You can try to contact the office manager to let him or her know how rudely you've been treated. At the very least, let the doctor know when you finally get in there. I now mine had no idea how badly the office workers were in her office. At least that's what she told ME! :)

I don't know about hair loss and hyper but it does balance out in hypothyroid so I'm guessing it would with hyper, too. That's one of the most nerve wracking things, isn't it? My hair did grow back but my eyelashes never did. I have some but not like I used to. I see what I can find for you. Cathy :)
