Ok since starting my medication (Levothroid)about a month ago, I am so tired I can't keep my eyes open. I am a stay at home Mom so thankfully, I don't have to worry about being fired when I randomly fall asleep. But for instance yesterday, I woke up with my son (3yrs) at 7am and then fell back asleep at 9am and slept untill 1pm, got up and gave my son lunch and then fell back to sleep until 5pm. Thank god, I had put up the baby gate up and so he had to stay in his bedroom or mine plus he is really good and just watched movies and played. But I am literally incapable of keeping my eyes open. I fall asleep in the middle of conversations it's ridiculous. Is anyone else having or has had a problem with being tried even if it's not quite as severe as mine seems to be and how did you solve the problem?. I go back to the doctor on the 13th on Sept. and want to be prepared. Thanks for any and all responses.

And I also am on Levothroid; beginning to suspect that it isn't going to be the answer for me. I can still be put up a few more doses at this point, though. I guess the hardest thing for me about all of this has been the waiting... it takes at least 6 weeks to know if your dose is going to take the symptoms away... and then if they put your dose up, 6 more weeks, and so on. I've been at it since April; waiting to feel normal. When I first joined the board, Cathy reminded me not to rely on coffee, as it has detrimental effects and she's right: it does nothing to perk me up at this point, so it's totally not worth it.
Good luck to you,
Dee.
thanks

Yeah!
What's with those muscle spasms???
I'm still having them: arms, legs and sides... it's annoying; and I ache at night.
If either of you find anything out, I'll be interested to know.
