Went to the endo today ....

I went for my 3 month check up after my first appointment with this new endo. I can't believe it's been three months already. My TSH is down to 1.88 and I really feel great. No symptoms at all. It's a little puzzling to feel so good! LOL! I've felt badly for so long. So that was good news. He said if I still wasn't feeling well, he would have increased my medication and brought my tsh level down even further but since I was feeling so good, we didn't change it or even do a new blood test. I go for a new blood test in 3 months. He told me to call him if I feel badly anytime before then and he'll get me right in. I really like him.

I told him I've been having small waves of feeling nautious and asked if that was related to the new medication. He didn't think it was and thought perhaps it was related to the vitamins I'm taking. He said since the FDA doesn't regulate them, there's no telling what the quality of each pill is, even from companies that claim to use only the best ingredients!! So now I really have to think about this. He said I should stop taking them to see if it has any effect on the nautious feeling. And when I think about it, I've been feeling this way since I switched all my vitamins over to a new brand!! So, I don't nkow about this. I'm going to give it some thought. Any advice here?

Just wanted to share my news. I didn't get a chance to ask about the muscle spasms because we spent so much time talking about me!! Sorry! Cathy :)

Hi Cathy,

I took an all natural vitamin multi vitamin (Rainbow Light - Women's One). It made me feel terribly sick to my stomach. It was so bad, I stopped taking it after a few days!

I now take - and don't laugh - Flintstone's Complete. (lol) I can't stand trying to swallow those horse pills...and these are yummy!

Yea Cathy!

I'm so glad you're feeling good. It is such an inspiration every time one of us gets stabilized! You go, girl!

Dee

ps. I made a note to ask my endo about spasms tomorrow... so I'll let you know if I find anything out.
