I'm hypo as some of you know. My T4 was increased and I was put on cytomel as well. I noticed the T3 immediately. Things were going well for about a month...then a few days ago I started feeling jittery. Here's what is odd.... I've been hyper before from too much synthroid and this feels EXACTLY the same.

Okay...but I'm still suffering from cold chills and hair loss. Only now I feel like I have too much caffeine in my system! My appt is not until October 6- I'm not sure what to think! Can you still suffer from cold chills when you have too much T4 horomone? I think I'm having heart palpalations too. Blah...just when the T3 was working well the T4 acts up!

Well, my guess is that it would be hard to say which one you're feeling! T4 is converted to T3. That's the usuable more active hormone. It sounds like you're overmedicated to me, even though you're having some hypo symptoms. I would call your doctor and see if he or she will adjust your meds down until you get to the appointment. October 6th is a long way off when you're not feeling well. What do you think? Cathy

Interesting...! I'm trying to put in a request for at least a lab test but they're so backlogged..... grrrr. Working on it! Thanks for the feedback.
