Supplements & Test Results

I am taking supplements in addition to my Synthroid. My next blood draw isn't scheduled until 11/22, but I'm wondering if I need to NOT take supplements a certain time before tests. Surely vitamins and the like won't affect your blood, would they? I don't want to be under-treated for Hashi's because I'm taking vitamins/supplements. I'm sorry if this sounds silly - just all new to the blood work ordeals and what affects/doesn't affect those tests. I'm taking a Quad Omega, CoQ10, magnesium, and a multi-vitamin.
Just an update on how I'm doing as well since today is the 7 week mark on 75 mgs of Synthroid: The first 2-4 weeks I seemed to be doing better (however that could be psychological due to the thought of being on meds), but week 5 & 6 were completely awful with a full-blown flare up of all symptoms. I suppose that could be hormonal as well since that was "that" time. I'm still tired and feel like a balloon with the weight gain, but have noticed that my overall mood is better, not nearly as depressed as I had been. Just looking forward to feeling human again, but I hear in Thyroid Land that takes a lot of patience!! :)
Thanks for any insight you can give me!!

Hi - I don't think that your supplements can affect your blood test so I wouldn't worry about that. I think that being hypo and not stablized tends to make everything hormonal worse than it would be otherwise, which might explain why you felt so bad when it was your time of month. Hopefully once "that time" is over and done with you, you'll start to pick up again. 6 weeks is a good mark for beginning to geel better so it seems like you're feeling it a little bit. It should only get better from here. And yes, you're right, much patience is required here in Thyroid Land. LOL! Cathy :)
