I'm hypo... has anyone experienced heavy eyes? Or strange head pressure? Or constant lightheadedness? Or more problems with their thyroid after moving around a bunch - either working out or driving a long distance? I have these symptoms on top of the usual hypo symptoms, but I'm wondering if something else is going on also because they are not common for hypo people. Thanks!

Hi and welcome - Those don't sound like usual symptoms of hypo. But then you never know. If you can, you might want to go to an eye doctor. There might be something else going on, as you said. Some of it kind of sounds like inner ear/balance issues. But I'm not a doctor or anything!!So you might want to consider seeing a doctor about it. Hope this helps a bit. Cathy :)

Hi,

I used to get( before my dose increase) a headache behind my eye everytime I stood up, it was really getting to me but when I got my doseage changed it went away, But you should see the doctor and make sure that it's not anything else.

Wow, that is something I have had, lately. Last night it was pretty bad when I was in bed. It's not when I get up...actually yes, it does get worse when I get up.

So, that is thyroid related, possibly? I was kind of worried about it...and thought it may be from allergies.

Mine was/is just as you said, behind one eye...in my case the left eye.

P.S. Are you hypo or hyper, Michelle?

Karen,

Mine was behind my right eye, but it was bad and it seemed to get a little better if I stopped walking and bent over at the waist for a minute, but the pain was still there it just gave me enough relief to get me where I was going. Anyway, I'm Hypo. and always glad to hear when I'm not alone in all these weird little pains and stuff, it helps to keep my assured that I'm not crazy :-)
