Blood test tomorrow

I know it will be ages before the results come in and I'm trying not to think beyond that, but it's tough not to. If this is not the problem, I have no idea what else it could be so I will not know what to do next. I dont' have a lot of confidence in my doctor - long story - it's a bit complicated here in England.

But one step at a time..someone said T3, T4 and TSH - though they will do what they do and if these aren't tests they do, they will refuse to do others. But, just so I've got my bases covered whichever tests they decide to do, what numbers should I look for, ie, 'normal range' for these tests?

Thanks,

CJ

Every lab range is different. You should be able to get them from your doc or on the test results.

Get your Free T4 and Free T3, also ask for antibodies test so you can know it's autoimmune or not!

I know its hard to wait and see. Can yuo call the docs office and see what the results are sooner?

I've heard some people talk about adrenals which often have close symptoms to thyroid problems. I dont know if I buy into it all the way, but I thought I'd mention it!
