Feel a pressure in front of neck

Hello again, since I last posted my numbers (TSH) are in what is called the "normal range" and I do feel so much better. I was hypo for eight years, my meds were levoxyl 100 daily and I was feeling great. However about six months ago I became hyper and my Dr. has dropped me slowly down to taking levoxyl 50 daily. I feel really good, however that being said, every now and then I feel a slight pressure the front of my throat or neck, right about where the thyroid gland should be located. Has any one else experienced anything like this?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Babs, I'm glad that you're feeling better! That's always good news. The pressure that you feel is probably a swelling of your thyroid, perhaps a nodule or a goiter. Call your doctor to have it checked, to make sure it is nothing serious. Most often, it isn't serious at all, just another part of being hypo/hyper. Cathy :)
