I asked my endo about my sugar being high in the morning.   He asked why I even tested. :-)  I felt a little embarassed.  But I did just check for the heck of it...then kept checking when I saw it was high.

I asked him if it was something seperate or b/c of my thyroid disease.  He said it's different.  He still wants to wait and see how things look once my thyroid is straightened out and said "we'll have to do something about that".

I just thought I'd let you know. I see the surgeon today, finally.

Good luck with the surg., today April!

Ps. Did you see the article about sugar that I posted to your earlier question about it a week or so ago? It made it seem like the sugar will come down when the hyper is gone. I hope it doesn't turn out to be a seperate problem. If it does, though, it will probably turn out to be a really good thing that you caught it early!
