I've been wondering if you're feeling any better on your new medication? Cathy :)

For the most part yes. I have stopped gaining weight. I feel better for about 7 hours after I take the Cytomel and then it gradually wears off. Then I'm cold and tired again.
So some days, if I want to stay awake past 8pm, I wait to take it until noon or so. But I definately feel better when I have taken it. I won't see the endo until February and he said we will discuss any changes then. I don't go to the health club as often as I would like, but I get there at least twice a week and work the machines as well as the bike and treadmill. Maybe next I will start to lose weight, but for now I'm pretty excited about staying the same for two weeks in a row. I also managed to get B's in both of my lit classes and am getting an A so far in my online class. Since college is out for the term I have been subbing this week in our school district and that has been fun. Of course, it's Christmas week so we aren't actually doing anything. LOL

I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling better. Don't you take the Cytomel a few times a day? I thought that's what I read about it, since it's so easily used up. But anyway - that's good news. And congrats on your classes!! That can't be easy. I'm hoping to go back to school sometime in the next year or so to get my Master's - either in psychology or in a CSW in social work. Subbing during the holidays has to be fun! I see all the things our teachers are doing in kindergarten and 1st grades. I love the way the school year just goes from one holiday project to the next. It's like a different world! Cathy :)
