New Test Results...Back To Square One

Hello again. I posted about a month ago about my last labs where my TSH was low but my FT4 was low normal. This time my TSH was normal, not sure of the levels yet. They also ran T3 this time and it was high but only by 0.01. My ferratin levels were low which I read indicated iron deficiency anemia, my hemoglobin is always around 11.2 and on the slight low side so the doctor wanted to see what was causing that. Also found a trace of ketones in my urine which I read can be from hyperthyroidism among other things. I was just wondering if anyone has had these results but still had a thyroid disorder and if ketones really has anything to do with it or if something else is going on. Thanks in advance!

Ketones usually show how fast you are metabolizing....but I believe it can be from diabetes too.

I have been checking my sugar and no diabetes. My levels are always normal. I have lost 20lbs in the last 3 years and cannot gain it back and I eat as much as I always have. My symptoms of anemia are fatigue, paleness, no energy, sometimes bleeding gums but I've never heard of being due to anemia. The test showing iron deficiency came back low and my hemoglobin was 11.4 this time but my new doctor said it has never been higher than that so it may just be normal for me because my hematocrit is rarely low which indicates actual anemia. I read ketones can be a sign of hyperthyroidism but figure the doctor won't pay it any mind since the TSH is now back to normal after being 0.275 a month ago and the T3 is only 0.01 high, not enough to go by. So I'm disappointed in a way because I've been seeing doctor after doctor for a year now trying to find out what is going on. I'm just turning 24 and feel a LOT older and no one seems to know why. I'm ready to give up. All blood work has been ran and nothing more is showing so there is nothing else they can or will do. Hope you aren't anemic. Good luck!
