Christmas plans? - (if you celebrate Christmas.) I have my tree up and nothing on it yet. LOL! Tons of presents still to buy. Presents to wrap!! Cookies to bake. Oh well!! The house is turned upside down because I'm in the middle of doing it all. How about you? Cathy :)

Tree is up...shopping is done...and all but three gifts are wrapped!
I'm ready!

That's just disgusting! LOL! (just kidding!)
We don't have a tree yet...we had decided not to put one up (WHERE would we put it??) but I have since decided a small potted one is better than nothing and we'll plant it somewhere in a couple of weeks. Of course, FINDING one the week of Christmas might be a COSTLY challenge! LOL!
We finished the shopping that had to be shipped, but I still have to buy for my DF. I have decided on a store a night on the way home from work and lots of hoping that I'll find what I'm looking for. Then perhaps a bit of shopping on Christmas Eve...
I baked for a cookie exchange at work and now I have LOTS of cookies! :) I plan on making a few more things just for us so there's no rush.
But I'm ready for Christmas to be here!!!! I love the holiday!!!

Well, we finally put the tree up this weekend, but I was being a grinch and couldn't have cared less... My shopping is done, out of money, so that makes it pretty easy. I got together with a girlfriend last week and we did a bit of baking. I'm just not in a very good frame of mind right now with the doctor thing and problems with my youngest son's wife. But I tell you what, when I saw my three year old grandson's face light up at the sight of the tree, the grinch really felt bad! And the cutest part of it all, was when Shawn would tell my husband and I, "Close you eyes, then Look". I'd peek to see why he wanted us to close our eyes, and he would have his little hands busy "ruffling" up the ends of the tree, pretending to decorate it so we could praise him for it! Now, THAT can make that old grinch disappear for a little while.
Oh, by the way, I'm in sweat pants for the rest of the year, I guess. Sunday, I tried on three pairs of pants (that use to fit just fine) and couldn't get them zipped up! How depressing is that? All I want for Christmas is a new body! Is that too much to ask for?
I'm kidding about a lot of this stuff. I believe God has me right where I'm supposed to be!
