Hi Ona - I'm so sorry for you. You have the roughest time! I wish you could get in to a bigger city or see a specialist in high TSH or something like that. It just doesn't sound like you're being treeated well at all. I'll be praying for you for an appointment to open up!! Hugs, Cathy

Wow...that is REALLY frustrating! I think it's kinda "bad business" for them to cancel your appointment and not do everything in their power to reschedule you as quickly as possible...not over a month later!!! I mean, if you had cancelled, it could be a little more understandable, but THEY cancelled! I would be totally peeved if they did that to me!!! You just have to wonder when people will start to realize they deserve BETTER treatment from their doctors...and they will demand it or they will go somewhere else...then maybe the doctors will realize that they aren't "oh so very important" and will make themselves a little more available!!! Whew!! Now I'm ticked off!! LOL!

Okay, let's calm down...deep breaths...LOL!

Here's what I would suggest: first, call that doctor's office back (try to make sure you are calm when you call) and explain the whole thing again to someone...tell them how you feel and that you don't think it's very professional to cancel your appointment and then not try to fit you in before next month. You might even try writing a letter to the doctor directly (you most likely will never actually talk to them on the phone, but

I'm sorry you're having to go through this. It's frustrating enough to not feel well, but when we also have to wait and wait and wait, that can really tear at our nerves. Hopefully an opening will come up real soon.
