Hello One and all,
Well I finally got into see my endo after begging and pleading.my tshis over 150,my t4 is0.23the free t4 that is the t4 is 1.2thyroglobunin is 4.8 and the anti is 25,so as you can see i have interesting numbers i also have been diagonsed as prediabetic and pssible celiac disease.I now have a glucose meter to test my sugar so besides giving myself my shots for my thyroiod I get to poke my finger a couple of times a day how fun ha ha.I also have to have a sleep study because they think i have major sleep apena my dr wants me to be able to go to the office and do the shots now but my lousy insurance wont pay for it unless I pay a copay every time and 40 dollars a week would be expensive over time.So i am working on that end.I am still not sure if I like this guy or not.I go back in 3 months and have blood work done in 4 weeks.sorry for venting but I know you guys all understand.

I've never heard of anyone having to take shots for thyroid...why?

Maybe once your thyroid is stable, your sugar will be too.

Ona - I'm so sorry you still don't have an answer for this!! Have you ever taken both T4 and T3? Perhaps Cytomel in addition to your synthroid or levoxyl? What I don't understand is why your T4 reading is so low! You're producing almost no thyroid hormone on your own. Yet you don't seem to get any benefit from the medication that you *do* take. It's such a mystery! Cathy

LOL! Oh no, you can't trust what your teenagers say!! I have two of them as well and there are times when we all think each other is nuts! LOL! But of course, we know it's them, not us! Cathy :)
