Hi Diane - I'm so glad to hear how well you're doing. Sometimes it really helps to look back a year or so to see how far we've come in feeling better!! Cathy :)

I'm doing all right, all things considered. A few weeks ago I had a miscarriage, that actually turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy, and I had to be injected with a cancer drug to end the pregnancy. I'm just grateful that it didn't require surgery and that we caught it very soon before it could grow large enough to damage me. I am very sorry for the loss of the pregnancy but to be honest, we were really ready for another child anyway. Still, it's hard.

I'm doing ok on my goals. I haven't been working out with weights just to give my body a chance to recuperate from the methotrexdone. I'm eating pretty well, but I have to admit to some therapy snacking!!

Compared to years passed, though, I'm doing so well. I haven't felt this consistently good and energetic in years. The synthyroid is really helping me. I didn't even realize how bad it was because it sneaked up on me over several years time and I had just learned to compensate for the symptoms. Thank goodness for a FABULOUS CNM who took me seriously when I told her my menses were off, and tested me.

Glad to get an update on everyone, and I wish all of you the very best!

Amanda - I'm so sorry about your miscarriage. How awful to have to go through that. I'm glad you're feeling better now but I'm sure that's a very difficult thing to go through, emotionally and physcially. Big hugs, Cathy

Amanda...

I'm so sorry for your loss! I can only imagine how terrible that experience was for you and your family...but I'm glad you are feeling better.

Therapy snacking is a wonderful thing, isn't it? I do it too...probably too much! LOL!

As you may have read, my fitness goals kinda took a vacation for a while too! I'm hoping the doc will let me get started again when I see him in two weeks. I so want to feel better!!! And I made another appointment with the PA at my regular doc's office. Kind of risky since I don't have any health insurance right now, but I need something to help me get some energy!!! I also need some answers to a few other questions...so I'm hoping she can help!

I hope you continue to feel better and are able to get back to your fitness stuff soon, too!

Good Luck!!!
