What symptoms do you start to feel when your meds aren't right? Do you feel you are going HYPOthyroid or HYPERthyroid?

I definitely know when I've gone hypo and recently learned the symptoms of going hyper. When I need an increase in my meds, I feel bloated, have strange bowel habits, am tired 100% of the time (even if I've slept through the night), and start to have terrible joint and muscle pain. This time around, I've also stopped having my period.

When I was overmedicated and went hyper, I had heart palpitations and a continuous feeling of being jittery inside.

I go to the doctor tomorrow and can't wait to increase my meds!!!

Great question!

I get the same way! In fact my hubby asked me last week when I was going to start my new dosage?(I already had) Also the neuropathy in my hands and feet gets worse.

I started my new dose 2 weeks ago, its starting to kick in a little.

I saw my doctor today and even though my TSH was "normal", she suggested increasing the dosage of my meds to see if it helps with all my symptoms. Yeah!!! She also said that if I don't have a period by the time I see her in mid-March, she'll order some hormonal bloodwork to see what is going on there but she is pretty confident it is thyroid related.
