...where to start..Im new, Rachel (21) mother to five month old Joshua and wife to deployed US ARMY Soldier Nathan (22). I found a lump in my thyroid while pregnant and I have not acted on it in fear of finding out something scary. My thyroid levels have been up and down and I can NOT lose weight no matter what I do...

..any advice how to get over the fear of going to the doctor?

..any advice at all?

HI

My name is Dana(almost 41) I'm pretty new here, dx with subclinical hypothyroid in November.

I know that scary feeling(I have trouble going in for my mammograms), but you don't want to put it off. You need to get the lump checked out and treated if need be.

Relax and make the Dr. appointment!!! =-)

Hi Rachel,

Welcome!

I would also agree with the others that you should go and get it checked out.
