I just don't feel good and I don't know whats going on. I started taking the Levoxyl at night thinking that would help. Now I wake up every morning nauseous and with a migraine.

A couple of hours later, I feel very light headed and my eyes feel like they are going to pop out. Think I will have to go back to taking it in the morning and having the energy at night.

Also I've gained more weight! and haven't lost any inches. I'm working out 5 days a week, I'm eating 1200-1500 calories. Its like I can feel myself growing. Of course the weight gain is the most annoying to me.

I know it takes time to get stuff leveled out, but in some ways I feel worse than I did before going on any thyroid medication.

Sorry for the vent, I feel like such a whiner, I'm so tired of not feeling good.

Thanks for listening.

HI Dana,

Sorry the night routine didn't work out for You! I have one more suggestion that may be worth a shot! You said you are on levoxyl. Which the pill is kinda "dented' in the middle, which makes for EASY cutting. :-)

I just had my levels retested on Jan. 16. I don't get retested again until March.

I had thought about splitting the tablet, but didn't know if I should. Guess if I'm getting the same dosage a day. I still have some of the 25mcg tablets left(I'm on 50 now)so maybe I'll use those up.

Dr. hasn't mentioned Armor yet. Since I'm subclinical hypo, Dr. wanted to start off slow. My original TSH(in Nov.) was 6.28, my last test in January was 5.42 (lab normals .34-4.82) The only thing I've tried besides the Levoxyl is Synthroid.

I'll try the split dose starting tomorrow and let you know how it goes.

Thanks for your help.

Dana
