Hello all-
I'm mostly a lurker but have posted to this board a few times over the past couple of month. I'm 36 TTC#1 for 8 months and was diagnosed as being hypothyroid in Jan of this year from my regular MD. With all the reading that I have done, (and it has been alot!) it appears that some hypothyroid woman TTC may have trouble conceiving and/or sustaining a pregnancy if their TSH is over 2.0. I'm finally seeing an Endo as of last month, and my last blood draw showed a TSH of 2.4. She increased my meds and I go in on Monday to see if it's finally within the right range. (The month prior it was 1.6, but I started taking fertility meds, including the HCG trigger shot, which I'm wondering is possibly what caused my TSH to elevate a bit. ) Needless to say, I'm reading alot about anti-thyroid antibodies and TPO and if you test positive, they can be an indication that you may test positive for other antibodies/autoimmunities that can really be the cause of miscarriages. (I had 1 chem pregnancy in Nov and haven't been able to conceive again since)
Can someone PLEASE list for me what anti thyroid antibodies I should be tested for and what the normal ranges are? I can't find info on this anywhere. I know my MD tested me for 2, but I don't know which ones they were. I am going to ask the Endo on Monday if there are more that I should be tested for.

Hi azana,
Hi Azana,
Your situation sounds kind of complicated and I'm glad April found something for you to check out.
