time for new Dr.

I love my Dr. but she just isn't taking me seriously(at least to me)

I've been working really hard to try to lose weight. Watching portions/calories/lower on the carb side, 1300-1500 cal. Working out 4-5 times a week. I've burst out of all my clothes. I've actually gained 7 pounds since last time I went in; she says I should probably lower my calorie intake(I would be starving)

The last couple of months I've had trouble during exercise with shortness of breath because of heart racing etc, a hyper feeling that lasts way to long, didn't start until the new thryoid meds. So Dr. orders a pulminary test and a chest x-ray!!??

I mention the extreme hot flashes that didn't start until I started taking thyroid meds, she said that its because I'm not on any hormone replacement. These hot flashes are totally different and didn't start until thyroid medicine. She didn't even discuss hrt with me.

I don't know what else to do. She didn't even call in a rx refill for my allergy medicine!!

I hate trying to find a new dr. but a friend of a friend went to a Gynocologist who specializes in women who have had hysterectomies and also thyroid disorders. She really liked her. My friend called to make an appointment and said she got more info over the phone than she has from any of her other dr.s. So we'll see.

Thanks for listening. I'm just beyond frustrated. At least this time she didn't ask if I was depressed!

Hi Ck,

The best way to forget all your troubles is to wear tight shoes...
