Ok, frustration coming through again, I have been feeling lousy for 2 weeks now, queasy tummy, lightheaded, a feeling of not really being together focus wise, a few really anxious moments like I felt I was gonna scream. Couldn't go to gym as I was too scared that once I did movement the balance would be off and make a fool of myself. So, went to dr for blood work, and was still waiting for results when I finally went to emergency one morning I felt that lousy. They did complete workup and found nothing wrong and even my TSH was in the "normal" range in his eyes. I took those results to my family dr right away, and he agreeded with me that the meds needed to be increased as they were too close to the higher end of the scale. So I assumed that this would help the symptoms but no, still feel blah, etc and mentioned that to him and he says it is the beginning of peri!! So am I feeling lousy because my body is not producing enough estrogen or what? Is that why I feel lousy? The TSH levels are ok I think, will get tested in a month or so, but help anyone if you have experienced this I would love to hear what you did to feel better and get back on track.
Thanks

I was under the impression from dr that it would start to make me feel better the next day, so thats why i am so frustrated. Another day today spent chewing on tums to settle the tummy.....ugh what a life, going to see dr on wednesday for my blood work results so hope there is some news there. i had the thyroid tsh checked and thats why i got the increase. Gonna really have a sit down with dr to get ot the bottom of this,

I was diagnosed with hypo about 4 years ago and meds have been steadily climbing in doses over the years, I am on 0.150 mgs daily of the synthyroid and started the increase on friday. Why does the dr make it sound like it should be an instant feel better when the med is increased? What exactly is hashimoto? I'm not sure if he in fact had t3andt4 added on the list when I had all the bloodwork done but will certainly ask when I go on wednesday. I am gonna ask him about an inner ear infection too, as they almost mask the symptoms although I don't think mood swings is included for ear infections!!! I will ask all these questions on wednesday when I go to see him.........thanks for he input!
