Ok, we are at another stand still. All tests are normal except one. The lump is a fatty cyst. Since it is slightly larger than a soft ball, we will be discussing what to do as soon as I can get back in to see the dr. Next thing to test for is Fibromialgia (sp?) and Fibro Muscular Displasia (sp?). My father has just informed me that he has been diagnosed with the latter and he was told due to my problems doing a copy cat scenerio to his, I need to be tested also. So, once again, off to the needle rooms, x-rays, and biopsys.

Hi Cassie,

After reading your post, I searched for fibromuscular dysplasia and found this link:

I just found out about it today and got my fathers doctor's number today. I will be taking it in. At this time he's on so many medications it's sickening. He's taking cumadin (sp) I know of for sure, there is something for pain, something for sleeping, something for getting angry all the time, something for bp, something for his heart (he just recieved a splint in one of the arteries), and a few other things. He's starting to get real weak and knows he'll end up in a wheelchair soon, but he's only 51, so he's going to continue to fight. I'm thinking it may not even be that with me, I'm thinking it's more fibromialgia (sp), I've been doing alot of studying and web serches and someone from another board came up with FM. I may have him have his dr look into it also. It's kind of weird too, a father and daughter mimicking each other's illnesses and I went from age 7 or 8 not talking to him till I was 21, LOL (that's another story). I will be looking at that web site, I'm trying everything and anything to get to the bottom of this, I really want to have energy again and be able to dance longer than a few mins w/o getting into pain or getting exhausted, LOL. Thank you hun.
/hugs,
Cassie
