having a biopsy on Friday

I'm new here and my mom made me an appt. with her thyroid dr.  So I had the blood tests done a couple weeks ago and a thyroid ultrasound last week.  I just found out that they want to do a biopsy on Friday and I don't know anything yet.  I will find out on Friday when I talk to my doctor.  I also just found out over the weekend that I'm pregnant.  I'm not sure how this is going to affect my pregnancy.  I have had 2 miscarriages , one last year and one in June this year so I'm really afraid that I might have another miscarriage or possibly have cancer.  I've been feeling really tired for the last 4 years or so and it's just been getting worse so that's why my mom took me to her endocrinologist.  Is it possible to be treated for this while pregnant, will I be able to take meds if I need to?

Yes, you can be treated and you should be under doctor's care during pregnancy with thyroid issues. I did not receive treatment for my thyroid problems and just felt it would go away. When I found out I was pregnant, I was willing to get treatment, but I didn't seek it out myself, just figured I would wait for the doctor to send me to see an endo. I had a m/c and the ob said she believed that my thyroid could have been the cause of the m/c. It may not have been the cause of your previous losses, as it might not have been the cause of mine, but why take the chance. COngrats on your pregnancy, and I hope all goes well.
