Hi,
I posted yesterday about my blood work. I called and spoke with a nurse about my results who wasn't too informed about hyperthyroidism. Anyhow, I had a TSH test that came back .2 which from my understanding is overactive. This leads me to my question....upon reading about this condition I came acrossed an article saying that kidney stones can be caused by hyperthyroidism. I am trying to put all the pieces together because I went into the doctor's office Tues. for having blood in my urine...a lot of blood. The doctor assumed it was just a bladder infection, however I really didn't have any symptoms other than the blood. I have been experiencing terrible abdominal pain on my right side that goes into my lower back, on and off for about a month now. I thought I was having problems with my gallbladder but am now wondering if I was passing a kidney stone.
As of now, I have an appointment for a sonogram this coming week and a recheck of my urine. I am on antibiotics but am worried I will have another episode once I am done with them. I have really not been feeling well for sometime now....very anxious, irritable, tired and often feel like my heart is beating out of my chest. I just thought it was due to my day to day stress....I have a lot of it ( 4 boys....ages 4,6,8,&11) My 11 yr old is Autistic and my 8 yr old has ADHD.
If anyone has anything to add regarding my situation I would appreciate it!

Those symptoms can be connected to hyperthyroidism and your .2 level may be the reason you're having them.
