My son, 29, has been tentatively dxed with Hashimoto's. His GP has referred him to an endocrinologist whom he'll see at the end of the month. I don't have a lot of details, only that one test that should have been 35 was close to 1,000.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi Catwoman1977,
Welcome to our board.
I'm guessing those figures represent the antibody test since he has Hashimoto's.
Thank you!
An update and I'd love any thoughts from you and the members!
The endocrinologist says my son's TSH is normal, it's the antibodies that are elevated which is causing the Hashimoto's.
Hi Catwoman1977,
Since your son is experiencing symptoms that could be connected to Hashimoto's, I would think the endoc. would try some type of treatment.
Great advice!
