I was diagnosed with hashimotos and ive lost over 65 lbs. in the course of april to present time without trying actually ive been trying to put weight on. does anyone have any suggestions, ive tried everything. also im very curious is there anything really bad with alcohol consumption and this condition i cant find anything on it.

That's interesting that you have lost so much weight when you're on the hypo side.

i was diagnosed in july. the doctors called it hashimoto but i got another opinion that said hyperthyroid. i also have seen the ultrasound and my thyroid is ultra big and wraps around my windpipe i always seem to be having problems breathing. the only other problems is my knee i have liquid in it. it looks like i grew a second knee on it.
anyways the doctor thought this thyroid would slow down but no matter what kind of food and how much i eat i cant gaind a pound. grrr

Hyperthyroid sounds more logical if you are losing weight.
