When I was in High School my levels were very low. Now (at 21) my doctor says they are a little low,but not bad enough to need medicine. Before my levels dropped I was full of energy. Now its a struggle to get up in the morning. What should I do

Hi Tarracochell,

Welcome to our board.

I'm not sure if a hypothyroid condition can go away completely but I think our levels can fluctuate enough on their own so that you might get better.

Thanks for responding! I have told my doctor that, and she insists that my levels are fine. She says that my tiredness can't be due to the thyroid, but something else, like too much coffee. I went to an endocrinologist when I was on the medication, and he was worthless. He didn't even take any more tests, he just talked to me, then billed me. Perhaps if I get another test. My last one was over a year ago. I don't know, I just thought I'd ask. Thanks a lot!!

Good idea....I think since it's been over a year since your last test, I'd ask about getting one done.
