Young, but feel so unhealthy

I am 23 years old (female) and was diagnosed hypothyroid in march 2005. I have been on Levothyroxine, which actually helped a lot, until this winter. All of a sudden I'm ALWAYS tired, feel anxious, and feel like (no offense to anyone) a 90-year old woman. I'm only 23 and it's so frustrating to feel like I'll never be as energetic and perky as I once was. I feel like I'm always either too tired or too anxious to function and ENJOY my daily life. Has anyone had similar experience? What can I do to fix this so I can FEEL 23, not 90?? I feel totally desperate.

Hi Dreeboat,

Welcome to our board.

Have you been tested recently to see how your levels are?

Hi dreeboat,
Welcome to the board.
I know how you feel. I was first hyper, then hypo, then hyper. I agree with calley you should go to your doctor and be tested again. Both of these hypo and hyper will make you feel anxious, very tired, jittery, like you said make you feel old. I have been on tapazole for hyper, then szynthroid for hypo, then back on tapazole. Go to your doctor and get retested, you might want to go to and endo doctor.
Hope to see you in the chat room on Wednesday nights at 10:00 PM EST.
Please let us know how your doing.

Thanks,
Terianne
