Hypo after RAI

Let me start first by saying I read this board daily and am grateful to the others out there dealing with Hypothyroid issues and for sharing their stories. The last fews days I have been feeling horrible. At this point, I don't know if it's my thyroid or my cold. I had blood work done on the 5th and the tsh was ok (1.17 I think) I had been feeling pretty good until about then. But probably around that date I started to feel tired again. I was never one for naps etc. now I can "rest" during the day go into bed early and sleep through the night like I was drugged. I'm thinking either my tsh is up again or it leveled off and I need to be a bit lower. Other than my venting.... Do any of you think that it's possible I was feeling better because my previous levels where so much higher and when they went to the new number my body was "grateful" I was feeling better and that my TSH either went up or my body adjusted to the new numbers and I might need a tweek up in meds??? I still feel like I'm in a fog, I am presently taking 137mcg of synthroid. my t3 was I think 87. Thanks everyone for letting me vent.

Check into adrenal fatigue. I've written quite a few posts on the subject lately, because I just went through it. I think a lot of people are misdiagnosed, when they actually have adrenal fatigue. It is just recently being recognized as the problem that it is, and many doctors don't want to hear about anything that hasn't been described for at least 10 years. If that's the case with you, check into it and find a new doc if need be. That's what I had to do, and I feel like I've been pulled out of a coma. Good luck!
