Underactive Thyroid and Memory?

Has anyone else experienced really bad brain power with hypothyroidism?!
I have only been on meds for about 6 months and I have just noticed now that I am studying for exams that it takes me so much longer to take things in and remember things aswel!
As soon as I get stressed about anything my thyroid just swells up and I feel completely drained and pretty much have to give up studying for that night! Makes the whole experience a lot harder! lol!
Just wondering if others experience this or if its just me!

It used to take me a couple of hours to get essays done now it takes a full day if not more, about a hundred pages of notes and loadsa essay plans!
It's really annoying to have to spend a day studying for just one question! I get really stressed easier now too!
Ah well let's hope It starts to get better for both of us!
