Armour Review & A Question...

I started taking Armour this past March in addition to the Levoxyl I've been on for years. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The mental clarity, fatigue, general energy level, etc. is so much better! I haven't felt this good in a long time though I still don't feel as good as before developing Hypothyroidism. But hey, I'm happy! I've lost 10 pounds in the three months I have been using Armour! The medication has given me back much needed energy and allows me to do more throughout the day, thus the weight loss along with an increased metabolism. Also, I've noticed my GERD symptoms have slightly improved. My Endo is astounded at how well I have responded to this medication, as am I. However, I have noticed that after 5-6 hours of taking my meds, I "crash." My Endo says this is typical of Armour as it is a short-acting med. She has decreased my Levoxyl even more (was on 125mcg now 50mcg) and wants me to take 60 mg of Armour per day to get me through the entire day/night. Which leads me to my question....

For those of you who take Armour twice a day, how many hours do you wait before taking the second dose?

PS - One more thing: My Endo said my latest labs show I've slipped slightly into Hyper though I haven't had any symptoms. Now that my Levoxyl is decreased, my TSH should come back up slightly. I'm not sure how I feel about that given I have felt so good.
