I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease, and I am looking for some been there done that experience. I've been doing some general reading online so far, just from Googling "hashimotos." If anyone has some good resources they could pass along, that would be great! From what I am reading, there is no cure for this. From the way I am understanding it, they will actually be treating the hypothyroidism resulting from the hashimotos? My doctor wants to start me on thyroid replacement therapy. What can I expect this to help in the line of symptoms such as poor metabolism, hives, energy, etc?
