Hi,

I can't say how happy I am to see this message board,  I have been having trouble in the past year and half.  Recently Dx Hypothyroidism.  I was tested with high TSH of 11...which really was high.

On meds on .050  so far I am back to the "normal" range.

Is it normal to have an "off" day?  every once in a while I would have an really crappy day...feeling overly exhausted, no energy.  Then the next day I am completely fine.

Curious If you had any "off days"    How about Dizzy spells...I would get really dizzy every now and then.

Hi,

I too am hypothyroid now (was hyperthyroid-graves disease and now thyroid may be burning itself out) since April of this year.

Hey there! Welcome!

I'm having an "off" day today! I'm so glad I checked the board and found your post. I'm about a week and a half away from my period. Not all days are bad and the PMS is to a minimum now that I'm on meds. I take 100 mcg of Levo.

I think having an "off" day is normal. If they do keep up, then I'd go to the doctor. Another idea would be to check your body temperature. Mine was 98.2 (took it 2 hours after waking up). I think that's a little low. That probably means that my thyroid isn't fully functioning today. But we'll see how I feel this afternoon. Usually as the day goes on, I feel better.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that at last blood draw, my TSH was 1.0. I'm wondering if it could be a little lower because my hair is still falling out. But I've heard that whole process takes a while to even out. So I'm just trying to be patient.

As far as the dizziness goes, I have to ask if you're drinking enough water. That seems to make a big difference for me.

Good Luck!
