Bridge of Nose HURTS for no reason!
Sat, 08-22-2009 - 12:52am
I woke up yesterday and the bridge of my nose hurt to the touch.  It is not like sinus pain or pressure...it's like IN THE BONE.  I am not prone to allergies and have felt sinus pain in the head, cheeks and jaw before.  This is different.  Today the pain is worse.  The bone on the bridge of my nose hurts bad to touch it (washing my face, putting on makeup and wearing glasses is almost impossible), it's warm to the touch, my eyes are watering, my nose is draining (clear) and the pain is getting worse.  I looked this up on line and people were mentioning "Facial Cellulitis".  Is this possible in the bridge of the nose?  It's really getting worse.  I have not noticed any real swelling but it is getting redder.  I tried allergy medication today (to satisfy my husband) and tried a warm compress but nothing helps.  800 mg of Ibuprofin did nothing.  Any advice or suggestions?
