I decided we'd have something simple here. Our version of spanish rice and fruit salad. How about you, ordering out, going out, company coming?

Saturday dinner, don't talk to me about Saturday dinner (we had pizza by the way yum and I had a few glasses of wine for the first time in a week!), it is SUNDAY LUNCH I am having a pup about!!!!! The new fridge comes mid day today and guess what, MY PARENTS HAVE ASKED THEMSELVES TO LUNCH!!!! What chaos, all the contents of the fridge will be on the bench. You gotta laugh I guess. Roll out the microwave spaghetti!!. It is nearly 5 a.m. Sunday here. Man it is dark, like the inside of a cow, outside!! Have a great Saturday night dinner!!! Hilary

Hmm, I bet your version of Spanish rice goes easy on the hot sauce, am I right?

Here, well, maybe I'll fix that box of couscous my healthy friend gave me to try -- it's not from the grocery, but the health food store. This box says it is organic whole wheat, 100% semolina.

There is a recipe on the side -- looks Indian because of the curry powder. I may try it without the spices. It is called Casbah CousCous Chicken.

I just need some garbanzo beans and an onion, and grape juice (calls for wine but we don't have any of that). Got everything else. I'll let you know if I actually go through with cooking it. LOL

Have a great day!

Yogi

>It is called Casbah CousCous Chicken.

**That really sounds good...and healthy too. Hope you fix it. :)

You're right, not very spicy Spanish rice here. Just a little bit of chili powder.

Bring it back, already made and there you go!

How sweet of your folks to invite themsleves over .. you're so lucky

Why in the world would you be up at 5am .. of course it's dark .. it's still night

Enjoy your lunch :)
