Sometimes when this world overwhelms us though we have to concentrate on what an amazing time we live in. My family never tells each other they love each other. I cannot remember my father ever telling me he loves me and I can only remember my mother telling me that when I was in my teens and having trouble with a few things which I wouldn't bore you with. I know they love me in their own way! I think it is important to do that and my dh and two sons have no doubt how I feel about them! Dh is in trouble though 'cause I can guarantee he will forget our wedding anniversary tomorrow and I am a real b.... 'cause I actually get a kick out of seeing him squirm on the day. Ha! Hilary

**Hilary ..

You're so right about many things ..

The world has changed in many ways over the years ..

As for the *love you* .. I personally believe in saying it daily, often, all the time .. just cause

Oh my .. Someone better give your DH a clue and fast, LOL .. Could be in trouble, LOL

Happy Anniversary!!!!

Have a good one hon :)

Ahh Hilary,

I don't think you can tell those you love "I love you" enough. However, I think a lot of men were brought up not to say it but do feel it.

**Whoohooo on your anniversary tomorrow! Lol on him forgetting and you watching him squirm. We've been married so long, dh sort of has *vibes* around those times so for about a week before, starts mentioning it . I'll have to share MY blush on the matter sometime. ;D

BTW, have I told all you gals lately how special you are?

After posting this last night I caved, went into the kitchen, gave dh a hug and reminded him today is our anniversary!! He kept a straight face and said "I knew that!" then we both collapsed laughing 'cause we both knew he didn't!!!! So, no squirming when he gets up this morning. He had better remember!!! Ha!! Hilary

I guess I'm the odd one around here - - IM the one who forgets when we got married!

We both worked for the phone company at the time and we were converting an office to mechanization and very busy and just decided to go DO IT on a Wednesday afternoon....then went back to work. To this day I can't remember - - sometime around Sept 24,25,or 26...back then I was a gung-ho up and coming manager! HA!!!!

Hey - congrats on that anniversary Hilary!!

Ok fess up time for Golly

We've always celebrated our anniversary on a certain day, our *anniversary*. Welp, last year we went for our SS. The bad news-that we're THAT old, the good news-we're finally getting some of that hard earned money back we put in all these years.

Well, as the guy was putting in our wedding date, I corrected him, thinking he'd made a typo as he had it the day before we married. He assured me that that was the date on the info he had. DH roared with laughter humph. So I got out the old OLD marriage license and yup, I'd been wrong all these years ::::blush:::. If I die before he does and don't kill him some anniversary for his bringing it up again, I'm sure he'll be doing one of those "HA!I was right" for my eulogy .
